Newsletter: Happy New Year from the AU Center for Israel Studies!

AUHappy New Year from the AU Center for Israel Studies!  We have started the year with more students than ever engaged about Israel. Our Israel classes are at or near capacity and our students filled our first new “Global Israel” series event – at the Embassy of Uruguay – before we were able to publicize it to the public (see photos of the event)!

We have an exciting fall line-up and we hope you’ll join us soon. Please note that due to phenomenal student interest and venue limitations, we have restricted seats for some events to our students, faculty/staff and  “Friends of the Center for Israel Studies” ($180+ donors).

Please join us soon for:

  • Our “Global Israel” series of events at area Embassies. From Latin America we will turn our attention to Ethiopia (October), Germany (November) and India (2016). Seats are restricted to AU students, faculty and Friends of the Center for Israel Studies. Invitations to the Embassy of Ethiopia event are forthcoming. The Global Israel series is sponsored by Barbara Bender in loving memory of Sondra D. Bender, longtime AU trustee.
