Jobs: Tenure-Track in Modern Hebrew Literature, Haifa University




The Hebrew and Comparative Literature Department invites applications for candidates with approved Ph.D in the field of Modern Hebrew Literature to apply for a tenure-track position in Modern Hebrew Literature, level open, pending budgetary approval. Applicants must have received their PhD by October 1, 2012 . The position requires a full teaching load, graduate thesis supervision, and research activity. Language of instruction: Hebrew.  


AOC is open though priority will be given to poetry.

A teaching experience and research in a leading academic institute after completion the Ph.D will be an asset.


Applications should include:

1.     Letter of interest

2.     CV

3.     A two pages description of research activity and future plans.

4.     Two writing samples.

5.     in addition, please arrange for three confidential letters of recommendation to be submitted
