The Center for Israel Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences at American
University invites applications for a one-year postdoctoral fellow in Israel Studies beginning fall 2012. Applicants should hold the PhD or have completed the doctorate by August 2012. The successful applicant should be prepared to teach three courses, including one in the history of Israel; advise and mentor students; and engage with the activities of the Center for Israel Studies. Applicants will have demonstrated excellence in scholarship and teaching.
