Mirowski Visiting Professor in Israel Studies


Temple University invites applicants for a visiting research appointment in Israel Studies for the 2010-2011 academic year. The position is open rank, and both senior and promising younger scholars from the U.S., Israel, or elsewhere are encouraged to apply. The area of research specialization is open.

The Mirowski Visiting Professor will teach one course per semester on topics related to the applicant’s research interests. The scholar will also give public lectures (or exhibit creative work), and will be available to the broader Temple community for presentations. Salary is competitive.

Applicants should submit a letter of interest, a 2-4 page description of your current research, and a C.V. by March 15, 2010. Three confidential letters of reference must be submitted separately and come directly from the writer or from a dossier service. We prefer electronic submission of all materials.
