As a scholar of ancient Judaism, I do not have the time or resources to focus on Israel Studies, although I am fascinated by it, and always happy to learn new things about my country through academic discourse, things that more often than not do not reach mainstream media.
After posting a notice of a CFP on my Hebrew blog, I realized this would not do, and that I need a separate venue for listings of academic Israel Studies notices, that do not interfere with the nature of my blog.
So here it is. It is not intended for discussion of the items posted, nor does it endorse anything posted. Most importantly, I do not aim to be comprehensive. I merely post things that I come across or that are sent to me (via e-mail or the submission form).
As stuff accumulates, I will try to keep the posts well-tagged, to facilitate search of material.
Suggestions for links on resources, items to be posted, shameless self-promotion etc. are always welcome.
